Installation Instructions

Setting up OCRMyScreen takes no longer than a minute. There's no dependencies or complex installers required. Just unzip and run.

Download OCRMyScreen-1.0.zip from GitHub above.
Extract the ZIP file to any folder on your Windows computer.
Run OCRMyScreen.exe; it will appear in your system tray.
Use Ctrl + Shift + O or tray menu for instant screenshot OCR.

System Requirements

Windows 10 or later (64-bit)
Intel/AMD CPU with 4 GB RAM minimum
Approx. 200 MB free disk space
Tesseract language data (included in ZIP)

Update Notes

Version 1.0 includes performance improvements, DPI tuning for better screenshot OCR accuracy, and enhanced Tesseract OCR integration. Configurable options such as language, PSM, and DPI now reside in config.txt.
